It's a skill-based game that makes you experience the thrill of what a high-profile captain or a coach would go through before playing every match - a real test of your management skills, your knowledge and understanding of player strengths and weaknesses and various factors affecting the game.
You will have to select a team of, mostly, 10 players from the fixtures allotted and compete with your friends, users from all over the world and, sometimes, celebrities as well. Winners get exciting cash prizes! What's better than earning through playing games eh?
Draft | No teams in a league can have the same player. A format that's hugely popular in US, draft fantasy has started to enchant users in India as well through Cricbattle. |
Salary Cap | Traditional version, where you are given a salary restriction within which you will have to pick players. You can pick any player you want. |
Prediction | Pick the winning team. How accurate your are decides how much cash you win. |
Salary Cap is one of the many formats of fantasy kabaddi, and it's the most popular in India. In this format, you will be given a budget within which you will have to pick your players. Every player will have a salary tag attached with him. The salary tag will be based on how good a player is, so obviously good players will be rated high.
You will have team combination challenges as well. Selecting the best team that meets the combination requirements within the budget given to you is where the challenge lies.

TPB | Accumulate the highest number of fantasy points. At the end of the tournament, or a set of matches, whichever it is that you signed up to play for, the owner of the team that tops gets the cash prize. |
H2H | You take one opponent from your league at a time. You win or lose, you move on and face the next opponent in the next round. At the end of the tournament, or a set of matches, whichever it is that you signed up to play for, who has the most number of wins gets the cash prize. |
You can join two types of leagues: Private (free & paid) and Public (free and paid).
Private leagues are generally used to play among friends. Sometimes users allow
their leagues to be open for public as well.
Public leagues, on the other hand, will be managed by Cricbattle.
You will be given a budget of maybe 100,000 within which you will have to manage
your team. The net worth of the 7 players that you pick shouldn't exceed the limit;
it should either be less than or equal to 100,000.
There is no specific way to maximise the fantasy returns of your team. It could
be 5 superstar players and 2 rookies or below-average ones or 7 good players with
no superstars (superstars in the sense players who value more than 10,000).
The trick to nailing it really lies in how well you analyse the conditions in which
a particular match is going to be played in.
Your team will be locked only when the match starts, so you can make any changes
you need to your team till the scheduled start of the match.
Note: If the start gets delayed due to any reasons, it won't have
any effect on the locking time.
In H2H, players get locked stage by stage, depending on the matches. If U Mumba
vs Patna {irates is the first fixture of the round, the corresponding players will
be locked first, and they will remain locked till the end of the round. And so on.
You can transfer in, transfer out the unlocked players at any point of time.
In TPB, you need to select your captain and vice-captain once in a day, and that
selection will last the entire duration of the day irrespective of the number of
matches.
So even if you have 2 or more matches on a day, you can have only one captain and
vice-captain per day.
In H2H, you need to select your captain and vice-captain once per round. And irrespective
of the number of matches a round consists of, you can have only one captain and
vice-captain. So, it's better to select someone who plays more number of matches.
Arguably the most important button of the site. You can do all the analysis, all
the homework, be active 24*7 and make all the changes you want, but if you don't
save them by clicking 'submit', you are screwed.
Whatever changes you make, be it changing your c/vc or trading out a player, make
sure you click 'submit' after doing it. Else, none of the changes you made will
be saved.

Emergency conditions: If match gets interrupted by any reason, the fantasy scores for players will be updated as per the official result of the match.
H2H fantasy reflects the most real world scenario where the two teams play against
each other (so called "round" in fantasy language) in the tournament.
At the end of each round, total fan points are compared for both playing teams to
determine the winner of the given round. League standing point table is updated
based on win-loss points of each team at the end of each round. (Example Win - 2
Points, Loss - 0 Points, Draw - 1 Points)
The team with highest "Table Points" in league standing table at the end of last
round of the tournament will be declared as the League champion.
Teams accumulate points on an ongoing bases based on the real performance of the players in actual matches. The team with the highest points by the end of the tournament will be declared as the League champion.
Private Leagues: League manager with the agreement from team managers
would either play for pride or for money. (Example: There are 8 teams in a league.
All 8 team managers put Rs. 1000 to start with the league, thus total of Rs 8000
available to win in the league. At the end of the tournament, Winner can get 70%,
runner up can get 30%.)

offered by CricBattle for both TPB & H2H leagues. Registration for joining the prizing
public leagues are free!!

scouts for you who will come up with valuable information regularly.
